This is uh- *Coughs* This is- *Coughs more intensely* ugh. Sorry, comin' down with something I think. This is Wednesday night poetry slam. Um, we have a great lineup for ya. We got- I see all the regulars out there. I see you Diane, how's it going? *Sniffs* Uhh, I see you too Raul. Okay, um yeah, I see you too Michael. Okay. So uh anyways, f-first up on the docket we got Ron here. Ron has a very special poem that he wrote over this week he would like to recite. Um, so if you could all please just give your full, undivided attention to Ron as he bares his soul to you, uh, we would appreciate it. Let's-let's hear it for Ron everybody. *Nervous chuckle* Let's-let's hear it for Ron.

Hey everybody, Ron here! This is my third time up to bat. Um... *sniffs* I-I worked really hard on this one so, if you could all... please just... I want you to listen but I also want you to listen if you catch my meaning. Alright, without further ado... ahem!
Ron's Poem:
I don't believe you heard me right
Or were you even listening?

When I admit a fault of mine
You won't believe your ears

Cause I'm stubborn, far too stubborn
To admit when I am wrong

And it is not at all negated
Now I've put it in a song, my loves

Rancid Christ! I've always loved you!

I don't know how long it lasts
But I do know that it will pass before long

Everyone I've ever known has seemed
To write me off because I'm bitter
And I'm anal and I tend to be standoffish

Is it selfish that I can't find time
To share with other people?
Is it selfless that I fight all urges
Which may read as evil?

Hardly matters, barely care
I am lost, I'll hoard my wares
I'll take my wares and leave this place

Because you never really got it

Unsurprisingly I'm always very bored

Another bitter you that can't control itself

And I abhor myself
Until I lose myself
*Voice changes because I got phlegm in my throat while recording*
In all my projects and dull pleasures
